This landmark building was converted from an existing vacant office building in the heart of downtown Boston into a 362 room hotel. The original “E” configuration of the floor plate of the original building, designed in the Art Deco style by Harold Field Kellogg, allowed the repositioning of this property without major exterior modifications. The project underwent an extensive review by the Boston Landmarks Commission and is now on the National Register of Historic Properties.
