This new 50,000 SF building is located in the heart of Harvard
Square. The five story building was designed on a postage-stamp sized site on
the location of the existing post office – zip code 02138 – one of
the most desirable addresses in the United States. The project called for the
temporary relocation of the post office during construction. As in all development
projects in Cambridge, the design process required the building of consensus amongst
a variety of players including neighborhood, political and development groups.
