This development was for a new mixed use development directly
adjacent to the University of Pennsylvania Campus. The project included 120,000
square feet of retail and a 261 room full service hotel operated by Doubletree
for the University. Integral to the urban design plan for the project was the
creation of a new street that bisects a residential super block designed in the
1970s and serves as the new major entry to the hotel motor court and impetus for
redevelopment of the adjacent parcel.
