Square Master Plan, Charlestown, MA
The area once the vibrant center of the community
had become blighted after the square fell under the shadow of an elevated
roadway that bisected the area. With the depression and capping of
this major artery, seven new development parcels were created for
the development of retail, office, hotel and open space uses.
