Located in Wellesley, MA, this 3,600 square foot project is the result of a “whole house” renovation and addition to an original 2,200 sf home constructed in the mid-1920s. The building was literally stripped down to the structure and rebuilt. The design reinforces the simplicity of the original colonial home yet offers refreshing updates. The historic gabled form functions as a host to a large addition in the rear that houses the Great Room and Kitchen spaces, introducing high flat ceilings offering open living spaces for the Owner.
